Accepting Jesus Christ as your personal Savior is the best decision you will ever make.

God loves you and wants you to experience a life full of peace and abundance. Romans 5:1 says, "We have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ."

God gave us free will and we have the choice to obey Him or go on our own way. If we choose to go our own way, not allowing Him to lead us in the way He wants us to go, the result is sin (things we do that do not please God) and separation from God.

Jesus Christ is the only answer to this problem.

He died on the cross to pay the penalty for sin and bridging the gap between God and His people. God has provided the only way, but we must still make the choice. God wants us to accept the gift of His Son and allow Him to come into our hearts and live inside us. He wants to forgive us of our sins.

Revelation 3:20 NIV
"Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come into him and sup with him, and he with me."

Romans 10:9 NIV
"If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead you will be saved."

To Receive Christ...

Admit

Admit that you are a sinner.

"For we all have sinned and come short of the glory of God."

Romans 3:23

Repent

Be willing to turn from your sins (repent) and ask God for forgiveness.

"Repent, then, and turn to God, so that your sins may be wiped out, that times of refreshing may come from the Lord."

Acts 3:19

Believe

Believe that Jesus Christ died for you on the cross and rose from the grave.

“That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.”

Romans 10:9

Receive

Through prayer, invite Jesus to come in and control your life through the Holy Spirit (receive Jesus as Lord and Savior).

"But God shows His love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us."

Romans 5:10

This is the beginning of your new life in Christ Jesus.

Talk to God in prayer. He wants to hear from you, to know what you are thinking and what you desire... he wants to know what weighs heavy on your heart.
Tell others about Christ.
Get connected with a Bible-based church. Worship and fellowship with other believers. This will help you to grow stronger and have a support system in the faith.
Serve God by serving others. Demonstrate His great love for you by loving others unconditionally.
